From treatment resources and sober living to family services and grief support, Rage Against Addiction strives to provide programs that follow the addict and the family through the recovery process featuring four programs.
DAUGHTER'S HOUSE
Designed to assist women who are transitioning from substance abuse treatment to recovery; includes three sober living houses located in the suburbs of Harford County, MD.
RAGE CLUB
This program is a resource broker for families and children who have been touched by the devastation of addiction; encouraging open and ongoing conversations as the first step in the healing process.
RAA ABC (AFTER BABY CARE)
Empowering new moms in early recovery with postpartum care packages for mother and baby.
HALO (HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT OUR ADDICTED LOVED ONE)
An online grief support group specifically for those that lost loved ones to substance abuse. This is a safe and private supportive environment.
Stef’s Cereal Bar is a 5013-C Non-Profit with a goal of feeding the hungry, while also raising awareness for at-risk youth. They provide a pop-up style cereal buffet at local community events, youth events, festivals and more to raise donations for the fight against hunger, and to feed anyone in need of a meal at absolutely no cost. Food and monetary donations are collected at these events and distributed to various organizations throughout our community.
WHY CEREAL?
Cereal is a childhood staple that people of all ages love to indulge in - At any time of the day, - reminding us to nourish our inner child, as well as the ones around us.
At the Widespread Hope Foundation believes in the transformative power of music. After being in a tragic car accident that took the life of a dear friend, The Widespread Hope Foundation was founded in 2017 by Tucker Lyons, with a mission is to spread hope through the universal language of music.
Understanding that music connects us all, transcending cultural, racial, gender, and age boundaries; it has the power to make the best days better, and help us overcome the toughest of times. Their goal is to enable as many people as possible to benefit from the sensation of music while spreading the love of our friends and family no longer with us.
Through our HOPE-in-Hands program, they provide musical instruments, equipment, and resources to Baltimore City Schools, helping to supply aspiring young musicians with the tools they need to excel and reach their musical goals.
Camp Possibilities is an overnight camp for children with type 1 diabetes between the ages of 8 and 17 who, due to the complexity of diabetes management, often do not get the chance to go to a summer camp.
At Camp Possibilities offers swimming, fishing, arts and crafts projects, basketball, field games, a nature walk, talent show, dance and other activities.
We hold dedicated diabetes education sessions at camp; and some of the most valuable educational opportunities come in the form of teachable moments which occur when the campers interact with our medical staff and their counselors during insulin administration and throughout the day.
