    Gates open at 9:30AM on Friday - please plan to arrive when gates open or later, there is limited space for folks to wait without causing traffic delays prior to 9:30AM.

  • The prices you see are what you get! We are transparent with our pricing and did not want any surprise costs!

  • The music is playing into the wee morning hours of Monday. You don’t have to break down your camp and leave the site until noon on Monday, so plan accordingly to enjoy the time with all your new friends.

  • General weekend parking is available for a charge that you can purchase along with your tickets  or via cash or card upon arrival. This pass should only be purchased with a Full Weekend pass.

    Car camping and RVs are not permitted in the general parking area. Car Camping and RV ticket holder do not need an additional general parking pass.

    Single day parking passes are available for purchase if you are only coming out for the day.

  • Check out the Know Before You Go page as we get closer to the Ramble, check back for more details to help get you settled in and ramblin'.

  • Children ages 12 and under are free. Please be sure to add the Kids 12 & Under pass during checkout for each young Rambler coming out please!

  • Yes! We have a Kids Kove open each day with activities for the kids, second line parades, and kids sets on Saturday & Sunday for our young Ramblers! Just be sure not to leave those rascals unattended.

    • Please have passes ready upon arrival to exchange for wristbands.

    • Attendees will be provided with directions to camping areas.

    • Camping areas will be first come/first serve.

    • We encourage you to arrive together with your friends so you can camp near each other. Yeah, we get it - not everyone can take the day off of work, so it's ok to hold a space for your buddy’s tent that is arriving late.

    • Please be mindful and respectful of your camping neighbor’s and work together to share space. Believe us, there’s plenty of room to move about and set-up your jam circles, compounds, shan-gri-las, meditation spaces, or whatever awesome space that floats your boat.

    • The festival security team will be doing reasonable searches of vehicles and people when coming through the festival gate to ensure that no prohibited items (i.e., weapons, glass bottles, fireworks, outside alcohol, nitrous tanks, etc.) are brought into the Ramble.

  • Folks are welcome to bring a chair out to enjoy the music in comfort. We ask that you only setup chairs behind the designated line at the Moon Stage, don’t worry it will be well marked. We also encourage you to leave your chairs set up for the weekend, here’s the catch though - if you aren’t in your chair others are welcome to use it. Just kindly ask the person in your chair to let ya use it when you’re ready.

  • There are two types of RV passes available: (1) RVs under 30’ total length including tow vehicle (if applicable) and (2) RVs over 30’ and not exceeding 60’ in total length including tow vehicle (if applicable).

    All RV sites are dry - no hookups, water, electric, or dump stations are provided.

  • You betcha’! Car Camping passes are your pass to a cozy on-site spot to setup your camp next to your car! Limited on-site Car Camping passes are available. A Car Camping pass includes a 20’x20’ space for one non-RV vehicle and tent, no additional parking pass is needed, but everyone still needs to get a pass to the festival. No RVs are permitted in the Car Camping area.

  • If you arrive by 6:30PM on Friday, you will be given one hour to find your campsite, drop your gear, and get parked.

    Please be considerate of this time, as we want to ensure that the roads through the festival grounds remain safe, clear, and usable for all attendees. We’ll have staff cruising around helping you find a campsite and ensuring that we’re all doing our part to get vehicles to the parking lot as quickly as possible.

    In order to ensure the safety of all attendees, if you arrive after 6:30PM on Friday you will need to park in the unloading zone centrally located on-site and carry your gear to your campsite. We will make all reasonable efforts to assist you with this to support a smooth and easy setup for you.

  • Of course! There are a limited number of group cabins for rent on-site as well as RV passes. Cabins are only available to rent in their entirety, no single bed spaces are available. All cabins are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Additionally, check the Lodging page for area hotels that have partnered with The Ramble Festival to offer discounted rates for the weekend.

  • Generators are only allowed in the RV area and are permitted for attendees with an RV pass. One quiet run generator may be run per RV between 9am-11pm.

  • You may only sleep/camp in your vehicle if you have purchased the appropriate Car Camping or RV pass. Anyone found sleeping/camping in their vehicle outside of the Car Camping or RV areas will be asked to leave the festival without a refund.

    We know, we'd prefer for it to be different to - insurance and all that won't allow for this and we need to stick to it ya'll. Please ensure you purchase the appropriate Car Camping or RV pass to ensure that this won't present an issue for you.

    • You sure can! Check out our Campfire Guidelines for more info on your campfire at the Ramble. Expect visitors if you provide the welcome warmth of a fire - maybe some will bring music to the party. We encourage songs to fill the air - as long as your neighbors oblige.

  • Nope. Outside alcohol isn’t allowed on-site per Maryland alcohol control laws. Please help us to ensure the festival’s compliance with applicable laws and don’t bring any alcohol with you, it will not be allowed on-site. Please consider supporting the festival by purchasing alcohol on-site and enjoy some of the many curated drink options available at the Ramble from local microbrews to some of your tried and true favorites.

  • Nope, don’t bring them. The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere at the Ramble Festival. Please do not bring any illegal substances to the Ramble Festival as violators may be subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

  • Unfortunately not, as it will have closed for the season by the time the fall rolls around.

  • It’s Maryland in the early fall, which means it can be warm and welcoming, cool and crisp, rainy, sunny, and everything in between. If you are camping, please come prepared for the elements.

    This event will be taking place rain or shine!

  • Water stations will be located throughout the Festival Grounds and Stages Area. Locations are indicated on the Festival Map.

  • Camp Stoves, propane grills, and small propane tanks are permitted.

  • In a world of fake ticket sellers and scammers, a safe space to resell your tickets when you can't make a festival is important.
