Hey Brick! Vol 2

- Brick

Hey Ramblers! I’ve been getting quite a few Hey Brick! emails from ya’ll and I’m loving getting to meet many of you out at festivals and shows this summer. Keep those questions comin’ in and please say howdy if you see me out and about. Without further ado, here are some of the questions that’ve come in lately.

Hey Brick! Does the $40 parking pass cover all 3 days and allow in and out privileges?

The $40 parking does cover all three days of the festival, and includes in and out privileges.

Please be aware that the parking is first come, first serve throughout the event and is

limited. It is likely that if you are driving on/off-site each day you will be directed to a different spot.

Brick! If I wanted to check into an RV spot earlier then the festival start date, where do I find that

information?

We aren’t able to offer early admission to the Ramble this year, and Camp Ramblewood does

not offer on-site camping outside of events. However, there are some great campgrounds

nearby that are worth checking out!

Camp Ramblewood looks awesome, can we come visit and check the place out before the

Ramble?

It is awesome, in fact its one of my favorite places in the world! Fortunately, the Ramble will

have exclusive access and use of Ramblewood so that the only folks there will be all of you

wonderful Ramblers that are there for the Festival. Please don’t show up at Ramblewood just to

check it out. We ask that you kindly respect that Ramblewood is closed to the public so that

events have privacy and exclusive use of the property. Some folks have showed up to check it

out while other events were taking place and had to be asked to leave.

Hello Mr. Brick! Whats the difference between a car parking pass and a car camping pass?

We’re glad you asked! A parking pass is $40 and allows you to park a vehicle for the weekend.

Our parking is located 0.8 miles from the Ramble and is serviced by a shuttle. The good news is that you’ll be able to drop your camping gear at your site or cabin before you need to park. You won’t have to sherpa your gear on a shuttle and to your spot for the weekend.

A car camping pass is $100 and guarantees that you’ll have a parking spot onsite in our

designated car camping area and allows you to camp at your vehicle, no need to find another

spot for your camp if you don’t want to. Just pull up, set up, and get ready to get down. Oh yeah!

Whats up with the camping? How big are the sites? Can I bring my own food to cook at my

camp? Can I camp with 47 of my closest friends? Is it time to Ramble yet? How ‘bout now?!

You’re a spunky one. I like that, friend. If you are planning on camping, we encourage you to

camp with your friends, there aren’t any designated general camping spots and we do not limit

folks in how much space they can use for their camps. We only ask that you respect your

neighbors and their space as well. You’re welcome to cook food at your camp (no ground fires

please) or check out some of the delectable food vendors we have coming out as well.

May I bring a chair or a sun shade or tent to set up at the main stage?

Great question! We want to ensure the view for everyone are great - including the folks in the

back. This means no sunshades or tents in the Stages area, there is some nature shade to

enjoy though.

Folks are welcome to bring a chair out to enjoy the music in comfort. We ask that you only setup

chairs behind the designated line, don’t worry it will be well marked. We also encourage you to

leave your chairs set up for the weekend, here’s the catch though - if you aren’t in your chair

others are welcome to use it. Just kindly ask the person in your chair to let ya use it when you’re

ready. We promise, sharing your seat with some other amazing people just gives you a chance

to make new friends. Oh, and before ya’ll ask, no couches or large furniture please. Ya know

someone is already trying to figure out how to get their sectional couch to the front.

Do you have a question about the Ramble that you wish you had a festy friend with Ramble

experience under their belts to ask? Send me an email and include Hey Brick! in the subject line

and ask me what you want to know about the Ramble. Who knows, you may see your question

in the next Hey Brick! FAQ Blog.

Much Love Ramble-Fam,

Brick
